I've been riding bikes since I was a kid, but got fully involved in the 90's where trials, jumps/tricks and the bmx track were the order of the day. My mountain biking has been developing ever since, and I now find myself based in the Southern Lake District riding as often as I can, especially on big rides with technical trails where I can employ the skills from a misspent youth.
I've been working in the outdoors for 9 years, my mountaineering and climbing work can be found online here.

In my third decade of mountain biking, I love developing my skills and discovering new trails. I grew up riding in the mountains of New Zealand, I’ve now settled in Cumbria and have yet to tire of its epic selection of technical trails.
I’ve been coaching and guiding in the hills for over fifteen years in a diverse range of sports, including two years coaching mountain biking for Plas y Brenin (the National Mountain Centre). I specialise in coaching movement skills and when not riding I can be found rock climbing, or coaching it.
